Relating fUS to behavior

fUS carries behaviorally relevant information, and even standard decoders can accurately decode behavior from the brain data. We find, for example, that many variables, including cognitive behavioral aspects such as trial difficulty, could be decoded on a single-trial basis from the processed fUS data. Interestingly, when using SVMs, at times we found significant increases in decoding accuracy when using kernel-SVMs and decoding based on multiple past frames, indicating that the information in fUS data may be nonlinear and temporally coded.
